Through the 2009 VMA’s, Kanye West burst on phase in the center of Taylor Swift’s message after winning the Best Female Video prize. He reported that the prize should have went to Beyonce, and wouldn’t let her finish all of her message. This brought headlines, when Beyonce won a Video of the Year award later into the evening, she invited Taylor around to complete her speech.
